American Heart Association Basic Life Support Class

This is full, In-Person Basic Life Support Course is great for first-time certifications or if you need a full refresher!

This course prepares students to perform Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, safely and effectively use an AED, help someone who is choking, and ventilate with a Bag-Valve Mask.

You will receive a certification e-card from AHA (American Heart Association) valid for 2 years. All materials are provided by Adventure Medics. You are encouraged to purchase the BLS Provider Manual E-Book or provider manual before class at https://shopcpr.heart.org/courses/bls.

Blended Learning Heartsaver® Total - First Aid CPR AED

This hybrid program combines online classroom instruction with a hands-on skill session. This NOT a BLS class.

This AHA course (specifically Heartsaver Total) is designed to meet OSHA regulations for workplace safety, ensuring employees are trained in proper emergency response, and certifications are generally valid for two years. You will receive the same certification as taking a full in-class course. You will get your e-card directly after class.

This course prepares students to perform Adult, Child, and Infant CPR, safely and effectively use an AED, and help someone who is choking. The video portion of the course covers a comprehensive array of First Aid and Medical Skills. Your hands-on Skills Session will practice first aid skills including use of an Epi-Pen, Stop the Bleed! and splinting injuries.

Junior Wilderness First Aid (WFA JR) – Ages 6-15

Embark on an exciting and educational journey into the great outdoors with our Junior Wilderness First Aid (WFA JR) class! Specifically designed for young adventurers aged 6-15, this 4-hour course is packed with wilderness-style games, age-appropriate first aid skills, and essential environmental awareness.

  • Wilderness-Style Games: Get ready for fun and learning! Our WFA JR class features interactive wilderness-style games that teach teamwork, navigation, and outdoor safety in an engaging way.
  • Age-Appropriate First Aid Skills: Participants will learn basic first aid skills tailored to their age group. From treating minor cuts and bruises to understanding when and how to seek adult assistance, this class empowers young adventurers to respond confidently to common outdoor injuries.

A 16-hour class that covers medical and trauma emergencies in the remote setting.

This two-day Adventure Medics Wilderness First Aid (WFA) class is a 16-hour course that covers medical and trauma emergencies in the remote setting.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a WFA card from Adventure Medics. This course includes a field exercise that will give you the opportunity to practice the hands-on skills and techniques learned in the classroom.

This class includes your CPR/AED Certification

It is our mission to ensure that you leave us with a greater understanding of patient treatment and management in remote settings and the confidence to venture out on your next adventure with the skills you need to handle whatever nature throws at you.

Cancellation Policy: Full refunds will be issued up to two weeks prior to class date. Inside of two weeks prior to the class you will be refunded 50% of cost. Within one week of class date no refunds will be issued.
